CLINICAL SERVICES MANAGER

Darlingford Upper Goulburn Nursing Home is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified professional to undertake this challenging, yet rewarding role as the Clinical Services Manager.

Our team consists of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Attendants, as well as Food, Domestic and Maintenance Service staff, Administrative Assistants and management.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Clinical Services Manager is responsible for the clinical services of the facility.  As the senior nurse in the organisation, this role ensures that clinical leadership is established and espouses Darlingford’s vision, values and strategic objectives.  The role is accountable for the maintenance of professional standards and professional development of the nursing and care staff, ensuring best practice guidelines and person centered care philosophies are followed.

To be considered for this role, you will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (via AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, possess post graduate qualifications in business management or Gerontology (or similar fields), have demonstrable experience at the senior management level within the aged care or the health sector, and exposure to the challenges faced in a small rural or regional aged care or health service.  You will also have demonstrable experience in the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI), Residential Agreements and associated pricing methodology.  In addition to these qualities, you will be a skilled communicator, with outstanding leadership qualities.

QUALITY & RISK MANAGER

Darlingford Upper Goulburn Nursing Home is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified professional to undertake this challenging, yet rewarding role as the Quality & Risk Manager.

Our team consists of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Attendants, as well as Food, Domestic and Maintenance Service staff, Administrative Assistants and management.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Quality and Risk Manager is responsible for the overall implementation, integration and co-ordination of the organisation’s quality and risk management programs.  This will be demonstrated by providing leadership, support, education, advice and co-ordination in matters relating to quality and risk.

To be considered for this role, you will have suitable qualification in health, quality and risk management or similar fields, management and leadership experience, experience in business and strategic planning processes, effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
